Here are a few examples of our tours
Our goal is to help you experience the Lahti region in a new refreshing way. With our local guide, you will find places, where the normal tours do not take you.
In Lahti, our urban city culture includes e.g. nature – the Salpausselkä escer; drinks – award-winning whiskey distillery, beer and coffee; and architecture.
Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark
Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark is one the favorite tours of all time. See more by bus and on foot.
Get to know the liquid gold of Lahti. We are living on top of the biggest groundwater reservoir in Finland and our beer and whiskey companies are award-winning because of the pure water.
Lahti City Hall guided tours
The magnificent Lahti City Hall designed by Eliel Saarinen opened in 2023 after an extensive renovation. Saarinen’s color scheme from the early 20th century is displayed in harmony with modern art. The inner courtyard was covered and the copper mezzanine connects the new and old worlds.
We are proud to introduce the renovated City Hall and its park to visitors. The duration of the house tour is 60-75 minutes. The house tours are arranged within the framework of the building’s opening hours and its activities.
There are many stairs in the house, but a barrier-free house tour can be arranged by previous booking.
The house tour can be combined with other Etcetera ry products, such as a city tour.
Sibelius Hall guided tours
The flagship of wood architecture, Sibelius Hall, is located in the harbor of Lahti. A trip to Lahti would not be complete without a visit to Sibelius House. This magnificent building is built of Finnish wood and the subtle details of the house respect the surrounding nature. The acoustics of the concert hall are world-class, and the presence of wood brings warmth and peace to the space. Sibelius House is like a forest that has been transformed into art – it is a beautiful tribute to the forests of Finland.
We proudly present Sibelius Hall to visitors. The duration of the house tour is 55 minutes. The house tours are organized within the framework of the house’s opening hours and activities.
There are stairs in the house, but the house tour can be organized in an accessible way.
The house tour can be combined with other Etcetera ry products, such as a city tour.
